It was 2005. I was sitting in my dad’s cream-coloured 1991 Toyato Corolla. It was summer. We were in a parking lot of the Waurn Ponds Shopping Centre. I had a silver Gameboy Advance SP, I was playing Metroid Fusion.
And Samas Aran was the coolest character in the goddamn world.

I’m going to play through the Metroid series. It’s my favourite video game franchise. It deserves another run. This blog is about that play through.
